On February 5, 2011 our family was blessed with two beautiful baby boys – identical twins! My stepson, Kris and his partner and fiancé, Shea have two wonderful, beautiful infant additions to the family. Talk about changes on the home front! And diapers, and more diapers, and…. You get the picture. I just can’t imagine what these 2 new parents are going through right now. But they are both strong, loving parents and I am sure that everything will be well in the end. Lots of adjusting, but they will all do fine!

Speaking of adjusting, once they got the boys home from the hospital I had my chance to check the boys out to see if either of them was in need of chiropractic care. Most folks don’t realize this but the simple, blessed act of being born is one of the most stressful things many of us ever go through. The International Pediatric Chiropractic Association states that about 80% of all children are delivered into this world with a spinal subluxation. No wonder we see so many kids with colic, sinus problems, asthma and other problems. No one but a chiropractor has the training and knowledge to detect and correct a spinal misalignment, either. So my advice to you parents is to have your children checked by a licensed chiropractor. Give them a great, healthy foundation with which to start out life. You will be doing your kids an immeasurable favor.
